Quality
Our products are designed for a very long service life. It’s not unusual for CWA cabins to be in operation for over 30 years. As a consequence, quality has to meet high demands that are already taken into account at the development and manufacturing stages.
Our highly qualified and experienced employees are the key to our success.

Training
Highly qualified employees are a major success factor for our enterprise. In addition to vocational training for young people and continuing education for skilled personnel, we also promote on-the-job training.

Environment
The ropeway is a prime example of environmentally friendly, sustainable transport for passengers and freight. It is virtually noiseless in operation and produces zero emissions, making it suitable for use in densely populated areas.
An important material used in the construction of our cabins is aluminum, which can still be reused after decades in service.

Certificates
Certifications and standards are of great importance in the ropeway industry. All CWA cabins and vehicles have CE certification and comply with the regulation (EU) 2016/424 on cableway installations. The company has also been certified to ISO 9001 since 1992.
We actively engage with the standardization process. This includes membership of the Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV), where we are on the technical committee for ropeways. In addition, our products and processes are regularly audited by TÜV Süd, TÜV Austria and the French test center, STRMTG-ON.
