As an alternative to carpet coverings, we also offer the option of covering folding seats with a water-repellent, weather-resistant (-60°C to +107°C) and dimensionally stable foil. This is a 80 micron thick, laminated PVC with an abrasion-resistant and easy to clean surface. You can freely select the design, or even apply your own logo at this location. The foil is easy to replace and makes possible to change the design; depending on the season or the event.
Infotainment
PIUS
A WLAN/GPS transmitter mounted on the cabin roof guarantees data transfer from all electronic units in the cabin to the station. A stable network connection can be maintained with the installation of two aerials in both directions, despite the occasionally strong movements of the cabin (six to eight Megabits per second).
The latest information about attractions, events and special offers, as well as music and films, can be played for the entertainment of the passengers thanks to a complex multimedia system in every cabin. AUDIO and VIDEO components can thereby be combined, but can also be used separately. The necessary power supply must be clearly defined in advance.
Surveillance cameras of various commercially available models provide a continuous image transmission to the control room.
A standard surveillance camera transmits an image to the station in predefined time intervals. Up to five images a second can be transmitted in cases of emergency. All the recordings can be electronically stored.
All the components of the Infotainment Systems are included in the delivery from CWA.
Infotainment Audio
The AUDIO multimedia system consists of a standardised, commercially available audio system including loudspeaker and amplifier. The installation of the loudspeaker in the inner roof provides an optimal sound for the passengers

Paintwork and foils
Door paintwork different from the standard
In the Basic Model of the OMEGA IV, the doors of the cabin are powder-coated black.
Would you like more individuality? No problem! With this option you can determine the colour of the door yourself. The colour can be adapted to customer-specific wishes.
Metallic
This high-quality finish with a changing optical appearance will give your cabin a very special and luxurious look. Countless colour variations are available. The appearance of your cabin will change according to the incident light.
Two coloured paintwork
The individuality of the cabin is increased by the multi-colour paintwork, with arbitrary colour design much greater and, thus differentiates itself even more.
Painted VARIA Ski Rack
As standard, the ski rack is untreated in raw aluminium. A painted ski rack gives your cabin an even more individual touch and differentiates you even more.
Spezial paint for pillars
As an additional customised design element you can applicate spezial paint pillars (RAL system).
Glazing
Coloured polycarbonate window
In addition to the standard glazing in grey 133, polycarbonate window panes are also available in five additional colour variants (transparent, bronze 130, blue 113, grey 215, orange 710,).
The material is just as UV-resistant as the standard glazing.
FineView
The window panes are finished on both sides and made more scratch-resistant by means of a special process. The window panes become less vulnerable and can be more easily cleaned without leaving a trace.
ReFlect
It has been proven that the penetration of IR radiation into the cabin can be reduced by sputtering the polycarbonate panels. The interior temperature thereby remains cooler and the journey becomes more comfortable. In addition, the sputtering gives the panels an elegant mirror effect and makes them even more resistant to scratches.
Scratch-Protection foil, interior
Sticking a protective foil to one side of the panes (either inside and/or outside) increases the protection against scratches, dirt and condensation, and provides a cleaner, clearer view over a longer period. A replacement of the protective foil can be easily carried out without affecting the ropeway operation.
Ski protection pane
An additional internal glazing (valley/mountain and mast-side) made from polycarbonate provides maximum protection against scratches, dirt and condensation, and provides a cleaner, clearer view. The installation takes place with clamping profiles. The pane can thereby be quickly changed.
SAFARI barred window
Optimal air circulation and a spectacular ride are provided by this variant. Instead of polycarbonate window panes, chrome steel bars are used with a maximum opening of 130 mm. Please note the local laws here.
ALCATRAZ grille window
Optimal air circulation and a spectacular ride are provided by this variant. Instead of polycarbonate window panes, a fine-mesh chrome steel grille is used, and is the perfect alternative to the SAFARI barred windows.
VSG glass floor
A laminated safety glass floor broadens the outlook for the passengers and thereby creates a unique ride. A scratch-protection foil is applied to the floor as protection, and can be quickly and easily replaced. A VSG glass floor has an impact on the cabin weight and must be discussed in detail.
VSG glazing
The laminated safety glazing is glued to the outside of the cabin and is finished off with a dot matrix. The thickness can be selected between 4.96 – 6.96 mm.

Ventilation from below in the kick panel
The ventilation concept developed by CWA can be closed watertight with a magnetic flap. The constant passive ventilation through continuous air stream created from the movement of the cabin guarantees a noticeably improved through ventilation of the cabin in the foot area.
Second kick panel incl. Ventilation
The ventilation kick-panel that is used ensures even better air circulation in the passenger area, while also providing an additional window protection in the foot area. This equipment variant is especially suitable for very hot regions.
Enlarged opening wind-down window
Larger window openings provide more air flow in the interior of the cabin.
Slide-up window instead of slide down window
In areas with lots of rain, it is recommended to arrange the opening in the cabin door to be in the lower area. The air circulation that arises at hip level makes an optimal ventilation of the seated person possible.
Tropical roof
The heat absorbing roof element consists of a lightweight aluminium-composite panel (two aluminium cover plates and a plastic core). The cover plates are white stove-enamelled on both sides using a polyester paint.
Roof hatch
The use of a roof-mounted hatch is recommended for even better cabin ventilation. This consists of an anodised aluminium frame with 10 mm thick acrylic glazing.
Cross-current fan with automatic control
With an airflow of 155 m3/h, the cross-current fan guarantees constant ventilation. The function is independent of the airflow resulting from the movement of the cabin, and can be used at a temperature from 20 to +60°C.
Cross-flow fan with potentiometer
Air conditioning system
A commercially available 24V standard unit is used for air conditioning with an air-conditioning unit. Simple maintenance and a rapid availability of any required spare parts is thereby guaranteed. This option has a significant impact on the cabin weight, and requires a corresponding power supply.
Gill ventilation
The constant passive ventilation through the use of the air stream aerates the cabin and makes every journey a pleasant experience. Since the air flow is at knee height, no unpleasant feeling of pulling is caused.
Electrical ventilation
The constant electrical ventilation is completely weatherproof and works independently of the slip stream. This option is used for very hot and tropical regions.
Roof ventilation with radial fan
The radial fan built into the roof ensures a pleasant climate in the cabin. The ventilation power in the cabin is automatically regulated by an electronic temperature measurement. The ventilation nozzles in the interior can be arranged and opened individually.

Energy
Power supply through SuperCaps
Depending on the consumption and the route used, or if several cabins have to be supplied with electricity, we would recommend a power supply using SuperCaps.
The SuperCaps developed and patented by CWA deliver a constant power supply. They are recharged via a charging rail in the station every time the cabin runs through (charging cycle 10 - 20 s). There is a 12/24 VDC circuit (via Powerbox). The SuperCaps have a capacity of 165 F (54 Wh) and ensure a 24 h operation. In the case of a power failure, the elements that are relevant for an emergency situation (camera, emergency light, intercom) remain in operation via UPS (battery).
Power supply through batteries
The installation of batteries can be useful, depending on the consumption and the route used, or if individual cabins have to be supplied with electricity.
Batteries with a capacity of 80 – 18,000 Wh and a power range from 20 – 15,000 Watt are used. The batteries must be recharged every day in the station outside the operating times using an external charger. Depending on the type of battery used, a charging cycle can last 3 - 12 hours.
Power supply through solar panels
The solar panels provide the cabin with electricity from direct sunlight during the journey. Solar panels are normally used for the charging of the emergency systems.
Electro-mechanical door operator
This certified door mechanism with integrated lock monitoring and pinch protection ensures safe opening and closing of the door at all times.
Battery compartment in the floor or on the roof
So that the cabin is ideally provided with power, the battery cabinet can be installed either in the floor or on the roof. The size and required quantity of power is heavily dependent on the project and must be discussed in detail.
Rescue
Carriage for rescue sleds
This stable, rolling frame has been specially designed for the AKJA / Kanadier rescue sleds. It guarantees the transport of rescued persons using the gondola.
Announcement system
By means of an announcement system, it is possible to speak to each cabin from the station, and to provide instructions in case of an emergency.
Intercom system
Emergency communication between the passengers and the operator is possible for an operator by means of an intercom, with which every cabin can be individually addressed. The system contains an integrated power supply and is supplied as a turnkey radio unit. An emergency button on the unit activates all the emergency components (camera, light, emergency power, etc.).
Abseiling equipment
In order to ensure safe abseiling of passengers in the event of an emergency, an abseil hook can be installed on the roof or in the interior of the cabin.
Additional roof hatch with hinge
Rescue can, e.g. be carried out through a roof hatch. The roof hatch is firmly lockable during operation and, by means of the hinge, can be easily opened in an emergency. Maintenance tasks on the roof, or the rescuing of passengers, can be carried out simple and quick through the roof hatch.
Evacuation window, revmovable or hinged
Another popular retrieval and rescue alternative is provided by the evacuation window, mountain and/or valley side. The evacuation window is integrated into the design of the cabin and provides the accustomed, unimpaired panoramic view.
Floor hatch with handrail
A floor hatch is very suitable for rescue operations through the cabin floor. Rescue equipment can be tidily stored in an available, optional box in the floor hatch and, as required, is easily and quickly available.
