The ETHOS is an 8-seater gondola in a highly functional design that was first produced in 2002. The gondola is suitable for all applications in all climate zones.
The ETHOS is available with a choice of seating configurations: with normal face-to-face seating or with a central bench for back-to-back seating and full enjoyment of the views through the full-depth glazing. Your wish is our command!

With grade access and a much wider door aperture than the OMEGA, the ETHOS is a highly convincing solution in terms of functionality and the ideal choice of gondola for carrying wheelchairs, sports gear and other items.
Engineering
CWA's tried and tested aluminum space frame technology is the key to long service life. With its four-point suspension, the ETHOS is compatible with all ropeway systems. The polycarbonate tinted windows are mounted in rubber gaskets. The spacious interior additionally facilitates maintenance work.
Automatic door drive
The CWA automatic door drive unit is integrated in the gondola roof and has remote cable operation. The ETHOS is in compliance with all the main ropeway industry codes and standards. Easy access for maintenance work goes without saying.
